I appreciate the guest post, Ignacio Phillips

Moving to Texas was really tough on me mostly because I grew up in Boston and wasn’t used to the slow pace of life. We live in Zephyr which you’ve probably never even heard of but my husband’s family is close to here and I know he’s loving his new job which is why we moved back here in the first place. I can’t believe that after all this time I’m still not used to the people here but gosh, they are just so darn nosy! They come up to me in the grocery store saying things like “Zephyr Texas can get Reliant Energy!” like I’ve known them all my life and they keep asking me when my husband and I are going to have a baby. Now, my own family doesn’t even ask me that so why in the world would they think they’ve got a right to? John says it’s just the way people are down here and that I shouldn’t take offense to it but I guess it’s just the Yankee in me.
